I have a huge map problem. Literally, a huge map problem. I screwed up and made my map 9999 x 9999 and now my units have way too far to travel and I cant resize the map otherwise all the borders would no longer match. I cant increase the range of units beyond a certain point, but at the same time I cant shrink the map to make the units "fit".
EDIT: Also, side note, please fix the default units. I imported the default units to my custom map, and Coastal Battery's -5 movement, Sentry Plane's 7 hit points, and Cardboard Nuke's 0 attack were all "invalid values".

I'm not sure what the problem is.

Cities too far apart. Cant increase unit range, cant reduce map size. :c

The map engine runs on positions in a fixed pixel grid...
Resizing the map doesn't affect the borders because they are independently stored
So if you resize from big to small background, your borders become enormous.
And if you resize from small to big background, your borders become tiny.
Map scaling ain't gonna happen.
Removing range restrictions won't either...
Sucks to be you. Always think ahead...

map scaling should be easy. I could probably do it if i knew silverlight's programming language.

Well Runway, Silverlight uses C# if I'm not mistaken.
The temporary fix you could use is to add more cities.

I don't consider the phrase "massive fag" to be an insult. Mods did.

If you saw the style of my map, you'd realize that wouldnt work.

Seriously, we need Amok here.
This has low to medium priority at the moment, so don't expect it too soon.

I think you should remove all restrictions so can tie my units in with strategy.
for example a stealth helicopter cant be made because of the stealth restriction.
and making a "other" unit wont tie in with the desert storm strategy.
This is just one example of many modern units that i cant make but would make the game a little more spicy.
