Weltmir

You may or may not have noticed, but a map named Weltmir has been promoted for one month. Weltmir is a large world, consisting of over 350+ different nations. The 5 continents are called: Hesporia (left), Urasia (right), Nativica (top right), Boreaschionia (top ice cap), and Notoschionia (bottom ice cap).


Weltmir (The German and Russian word for world, so say it like Veltmeer) is a geographically and somewhat politically strange interpretation of Earth. For example, Weltmir's equivalents of Japan and it's prefectures are bordered by land directly with India, Malaysia, Brunei, and North Korea. Weltmir's time period is intended to be within the same century as real life, so you can imagine what state this world would be in. The various countries in Weltmir also use their country's native language for the country and non-capitol city names (For example, Arabian countries using the arabic script or Russian countries using actual Cyrillic (if that proves to be too confusing, please let me know)). As for Units, they are pretty much the same as my previous map, with a few removed. I do intend on adding more units in the future, however.

Boreaschionia and Notoschionia are home to many research facilities, which may also be utilized as possible strategic locations. Also, note that a lot of the countries within this map are actually just one country broken up (e.g. Iriga & Luzon are really just the Philippines split in two).

I've made 3 map presets, One for Hesporia, Urasia, and Nativica. I will make more in the future.

***Known Bugs***
Valparaíso is currently not selectable.
