Advertise atWar?

It costs about 1k usd per 10k people as far as I know, and if about 50 of those people bought a year premium, Dave would make about (50*35=1750) 750. A good ad, and the game could have way more players.

Maybe an ad competition where players can make their own ads and get some nifty rewards?

I don't agree with you, since the only problem we have is just the map editor, and nor do I think a childish toxic community will have a huge negative effect on new players or anything since it doesn't exist in the beginners lobby.

There was already a banner competition a while ago, the one G.R.O.M won.
dave could pick up some ad ideas from there maybe.

I highly recommend ads. I literally just joined because when I was looking for new strategy games google gave me a image to this site. I love the game and I wish I found it sooner. Just image how many people would show up and I found this from a random Google search! Never new this existed.
