¿What is reputation for?

Im curioius since sombody asked me on my very first game to give him a click on his profile. ¿What does it do? ¿How much rep can you give away or how does giving rep affects you?

Rep is said to increase the size of one's e-pen0r, though there is yet to appear a scientific study that proves this.

My view on rep is the more you have the better you probably are, but with all the rep beggars around i.e. "rep me and I rep you" rep is pretty much useless. I don't beg though so my rep is true.

Rep is only for Fruit and VAGlNEER

Reputation means nothing, mainly because of rep farmers.

Reputation is an important and crucial part of our community. Think of it like calcium, it helps you develop strong bones (rep helps you develop strong skills), and helps prevent osteoporosis when you're older (this can be compared to Low Rep Syndrome). Osteoporosis is caused by the lack of calcium, likewise, the lack of rep is called "Low Rep Syndrome." A perfect example of LRS can be seen in the post above me, Pinheiros, as the assmad about the clear lack of reps is apparent. In my opinion, and the opinion of many others, reputation is more important than SP and is one of the most important aspects of the game.

Rep is for paying your denbs

May I add that reputation also cures a very serious disease called Low Rep Syndrome. It's bascially caused by complaining about reputation due to a very low amount of reps. Not much can be done at this point, but that's what reputation is for mostly. To avoid LRS.

Reputation is the only thing that stands between decent afterwind players, and the deadly LRS disease. People who have LRS often don't realize until it's too late.

If you have rep, you may also have an LRS disease, along with subtle or noticeable LRS symptoms. Straight or gay, married or single, you're vulnerable to LRSs and LRS symptoms, whether you engage in oral, anal or vaginal repping.

Although condoms are highly effective for reducing transmission of LRS, no method is foolproof. This is particularly true with certain variants of LRS, such as moderate and extreme cases of LRS.

LRS symptoms aren't always obvious. If you think you're experiencing LRS symptoms, see a doctor. Some LRS symptoms can be treated easily and eliminated, but others require more involved and long-term treatment.

Either way, it's essential to be evaluated, and — if diagnosed with an LRS — get treated. It's also essential to inform any partners so that they can be evaluated and treated. If untreated, LRSs can increase your risk of acquiring another form of LRS such as HIV. This happens because an LRS can stimulate an immune response in the genital area or cause sores, either of which might make HIV transmission more likely. Some untreated LRSs can also lead to infertility.

You could have an LRS and be asymptomatic — without any signs or symptoms. In fact, this happens with a lot of LRSs. Even though you have no symptoms, you're still at risk of passing the infection along to your rep partners. That's why it's important to visit your doctor on a regular basis for LRS screening, so you can identify a potential infection and get treated for it before passing it along to someone else.

LRS= Low Rep Syndrome

Rep is basically a number of how many players think highly of you; although rep farming takes most of that principle away.
