Coastal Battery

Shouldn't coastal battery be made a base unit? It's the coastal equivalent of anti-aircraft. Perhaps it could only be available for premium members? or maybe another thing like the facebook like for helicopters.

I kinda like the sound of this please go on.

Just a suggestion. Whenever you get coastal battery (which is rare) you only get one, and for me it seems I always find it in the most useless cities. This would help countries like Portugal, Ireland, or any other countries with a coastal capital which requires setting up ships to protect it...Plus, there really aren't any defensive units against Ships in this game.

Havent you guys read its stats? you really only need one. 26 HP and 26 def against naval units make it a powerhouse that cant be matched.

whats the point of it being a powerhouse if one you get it in like Odesa which you wont attack with naval units so bassicly its usless since you cant move it and they are in useless citys

I wish they could be moved with like air transports or something like that. Getting them in such useless cities under minds their effectiveness.

Well, perhaps the rare unit could be made into Heavy Coastal Battery and the Coastal Battery be nerfed to something like: 10 hp, 5 def (+4 against ships), $130, range 4 (ground unit) ? And in Naval Commander it could be 6 def (+4 against ships) and $100.

Seems fine to me but then dont nerf it TOO much otherwise they will end like AA and will never get used

people use AA when against SM players for defense.

I know, the AA isnt that bad but i never see ppl use it (i nearly always go sm, in eurasia,europe...)

True; I've never seen anyone use them sine the day they came out and I'm an SM player too. They suck. End of story. Might as well remove them altogether if you're not willing to take step to balance them, guys.

I've seen some people use it, but never affects my strategy.

Yess anti aircraft are kinda like militia when defending aainst planes
