So my friend was talking about this in a skype chat and he was being annoying af and to end his bitching i think we should add resources to the game but only as an option for mapmakers as it would increase the strategy aspect to this game

Nein, we have a lot of kebabs playing this game, i doubt their brain can handle more complexity.
