you either dont copy the correct link of the picture or you posting through a mobile phonr, messes things up. i pasted the image link from your last pic and it took me to a google search page, not a picture.

btw some interesting information, the guy in the horse video died after a while due to internal bleeding in his abdominal area! he was a farmer in Texas or something. The guy with the jar, a US commercial pilot, gave an interview in a gore site and he said he resumed his "hobby" just weeks after the "accident" like nothing happened. lmao

I think you're misunderstanding nationalism. It's based upon birthplace or naturalization. Germans, English, Spanish, Chinese or Russians are all ethnic backgrounds. They just also happen to be nations.
You could be of Korean origin, but living in Russia, and be a Russian nationalist because you believe Russia is the greatest nation.
The same is true for the US. Just because ethnicities or origins are different, doesn't mean you cannot become a nationalist for your current community.

I understand you partially, partially i don't. I do understand that you(they) want to gather all citizens under one flag, one country and one government, they want to be patriotic and love their country, no matter color, religion or background. But that is not nationalism then, because (in that case) you have no nation, but multicultural society. So you can exercise Patriotism, but not Nationalism.

I would classify your explanation above as 'Territorialism', as you want to gather people in one plot of land, not around common ethnicity/background: which is must-have for Nationalism.

First off, Aetius is an idiot. I want to argue with him, but I can't bring myself to waste that much time on a hopeless case.

Second, how could you possibly think a break up of the US would be beneficial. You cite Yugoslavia as an example? They all killed each other for 10 years, and then went to fighting on atWar forums. Very successful break-up. USSR? Most parts of the USSR became almost 3rd world states. It took Russia 25 years regain their place near the top of scientific innovation.

In a similar US scenario, what would happen to the world economy, r&d, etc?

Maybe world economy and R&D will have to suffer, maybe not, China, Japan and Germany can fill in where (deceased)United States left a gap in the market. Or Brazil, India, Russia, Mexico and Turkey. They all have supplies which world demand. Short term shock is expectable, after all one large country ceased to exist. But instead one government in America now you will have 50, with 50 new independent countries all working on new laws and policies suiting their interest, geography, people and goals.

I'll use example again: Czechoslovakia, they separated peacefully and both pursue the will of their people. So no need to stay together just so you can be large country with many citizen generating enormous taxes.

I'm just saying maybe that's natural. Experiments fail. Pakistan and Bangladesh separated from India, Ukraine from Russia, Hungary from Austria, Ireland from England, Korea from Japan, South Sudan from Sudan, Lebanon from Syria, Kuwait from Iraq, Montenegro from Serbia, Norway from Denmark and Sweden, Lithuania from Poland, Colombia from Venezuela, Panama from Colombia, and now Catalonia wants from Spain.
