Moderators aren't just given to each clan. It doesn't work like that. It's not dolled out just because one group has a moderator, and another doesn't. It's not about the group you gather, but the individual you want as a moderator. There has to be a player that stands above in maturity, integrity, and professionalism. Pick those up and you'll get yourself moderator. Want it? Don't ask for it, demonstrate it.

Next time you want to accuse me of corruption, give a couple of examples showing me helping out my friends. You won't find it. Ever. It doesn't exist. I'm really inactive, so it seems people are complaining about getting caught abusing global while I'm online. Even of the time I'm online, I don't have global chat on when I'm playing a game. Sometimes I'm even too busy to mute and just do blanket warnings till I can deal with it. Very limited window for anyone to get caught by me.

This will be locked, by me or another, but I'll await a few replies, let you blow off some steam. Maybe someone will put up an argument rather than claims with no substantiation.

I'll try to be mature here, as you claim people should be.

If you claim to be very inactive, why are you still a mod? Wouldn't it be wiser to give the position to someone who can be more dedicated and proficient with their time?

Moreover, if you're so inactive, how is it that people continue to complain about your actions? Did anyone steal your identity or something?

In addition, how did you become a mod? Do you demonstrate the actions and traits you wish to see from others: to be mature, integral, professional?

I've recieved an SS of you telling a rank 5 to leave from a CW between bactria and your clan. I mean, it is only one little portion of your actions, but it can certainly serve as "proof" to your activeness and your own actions. Mind explaining the below, if you can?



I will admit that I don't know you personally, haven't ever talked to you, and have only heard from others who happen to express disappointment towards your actions. I know mods can't be changed by the community and I don't have anything personal against you. However, as the mod (who is supposedly mature, integral and professional) you are, don't you think all these comments deserve some attention? At the very least, an active and responsible person will not ignore the problems in front of them and respond to the community: that is the very essence of being a mature moderator.

Lastly, the way you respond so indifferently and condescendingly in tone, in my opinion, does not reflect the integrity you wish from others.

Again, I hope you respect my words and will take them as a constructive discussion.

Seriously we have only two mods who cw (ok Dev,Cthu and Bert sometimes cw's too but thats not the point) Desu and Aqui and both are being repeatedly slandered and attacked and i have never seen a serious accusation or argument made against them, so far. I cant take you kids seriously, sorry. This is getting ridiculous

Well, I should be able to comment on their actions as moderators regardless of their in/activities in CWs. Besides, I'm just trying to hear both sides; I've already heard the general opinion, now I'd really like to listen to Desu's words. I wish not to attack anybody, just trying to have a polite conversation. Nothing ridiculous in that.

Yes offcourse they dont and i am not their protector or anything. Just saying, if you want to take them away from us, you better make a good case against them, thats all. And with that being said, i am done here, carry on

I must say I don't know you personally, haven't ever talked to you, only heard from others and no one has anything good to say from you. I know mods can't be changed by the community and I don't have anything personal against you but... as a mod (mature, integral and professional) that you are, don't you think all these comments deserve some attention? At least, be mature to confront who ever claims that you're such a bad person, as a mod you gotta be professional and respond to the community IMO.

Some moderators retire when they know they won't be able to add anything do the team, mostly due to time restraints. Maybe they picked up a high pressure job or something. I can be around still, I just don't enjoy playing the game itself as much as I once did, but I still have a stake in the community and my clan. Thus my lack of retirement.

No, nobody stole my identity, I just have a heavy-handedness that other moderators don't emulate. Not quite VRIL-tier heavy-handedness, but in that direction. This is why complaints arise, and my name is constantly thrown around.

I eventually became a moderator through my exact same words: maturity, integrity, and professionalism. Every post, every word, every action I take is consistently valuable on forums. I do not make posts lightly. In game I fool around a bit, but I remain consistent.

Now for the main subject, that picture. This actually shows my integrity on full display. I wouldn't ever kick people because they re-made their wall or one of our people DC'd, as those aren't against the rules. I'm consistent. So what would make me want to kick everyone in a clan war against my own clan? Well, the rules. Look at the game, my clan is winning 100% with Bertank going to be taking Kiev on that turn, plus balkan/scandi-expansion, and 1godofwar1 may either recap or take Madrid. So, what's the reason..?

They had started the game without me knowing, so I went to check for alternate accounts and imagine my surprise! I stopped the CW promptly.

Comments and accusations deserve attention, but they don't always warrant a reply. People get riled up, and in doing so they spread their anger around. Most of this is hearsay, with, again, no substantiation.

I hope this answered your questions fully. If not, I'd be happier to respond to the politeness you portray than the disrespect and implications others throw around.
