Okinawa Map + Battle of Okinawa Scenario

*Note:the North Ryuku islands are left out of the screenshot.
Scenario:

Tactics:
Japan
In order to win, the Japanese must not only successfully defend but must also drive the Americans off the island.
There are two ways to do this:
Hold out until the American forces must rethink an invasion, or use the Yamato and their system of 4 bunkers across the island.
The Yamato starts in the center of the ocean, it can be placed as A: a defense for a city B: a invasion transport/strong attack force, or C: placed on the coast as a station for travelling soldiers (as was attempted in real life)
The bunker system (controlled by the central Japanese okinawa) is strategically placed as a base for troops going straight to the front lines, and they will not easily die there (bunkers 12 defense) however the bunkers are stationary. The bunkers also each start with 5 marines in them.
Lastly, the Japanese (central japanese okinawa) get 2 sets of 2 kamikazes on turns 5 and 10. They also get 5 free zeroes on turn 1.
They get 2 free battle ships in Naha
United States
The first, most important thing the United states must do is destroy the Yamato. However, this will not be an easy task as it has 8 base defense and +20 against all naval units. The only way to do so will be to bomb it with P-51s (which there is no bonus against).
Near Kerama they also get 2 aircraft carriers and 10 P-51s turn 1 (Naval USA) to counter the Yamato the Japanese get. (though aircraft carriers are not as strong, the planes also help)
They get 2 free battle ships in Naha

These scenario colours are all blurred for me,adding red,dark red and orange for one side would make it shine

IMO the best map backgrounds do not use colors; maybe transform he whole map to sepia tones. eave the colorfulness to the in-game colors.

Thank you for your input. I can change it to sepia and if it looks good then ill keep it.

Much better! Would be cool to have some "structure" as an overlay on ocean, so it wouldn't look so plain.
Also some dark brown or black borders would look great.
