Is a complicate process... but you can say, the owner of berlin tried to TB your transports.

1)He probably send an unit from berlin to TB you.
2) But the tb failed because you also attacked berlin, and TBed the unit that was supposed to TB your transports.

Result: Your transport followed the TB source.

I think this is a better way to explain...

1) Player A tried to TB player B sea transport, from a city.
2) But player B attacked the city, and TBed Player A's units.

So player A unit was supposed to attack ( and TB) your sea transport. But Player A unit got TBED on a city. So, the unit that player A was going to TB ( the sea transport, in this chase) Follow the bomber to the city. If player B win the battle on the city, then the transport will be in that city too. However, if player A win the battle, the transport will die because the transport also attacked the city.

So if he had won berlin insteat of you, your sea transport would has die. He probably tried to TB the sea transport from berlin, but you TBED that unit.
