Dealing with defeat

Hey. I'm new to the forum but i'm around AW for some time. I'd like to know how you guys deal with defeat in-game. For example, you're having a great game but then someone comes and conquers a pair of countries you own in one turn, and your attemps to get them back fail, until he captures your cap. I'm pretty curious to know how the "big bosses" here deal with defeat. Thanks in advance.

I don't care when I lose. Take it as a learning experience. If you lost, that means that you now know how someone else beat you. You can then learn to use their tactics to your advantage or learn how to stop their tactics.

What do you mean by "someone comes and conquers a pair of countries you own in one turn"

Do you mean someone who joined after the game has started (latejoin)?

Or just in a normal game?

If it's the first, stop wasting your time and quit immediately, or better yet, don't play games with such settings.

If it's the latter, fight untill you die and learn from mistakes. No other way to deal with it.

And I wouldn't call them the big bosses, nowadays most of them are noobs despite having rank 9 and 10 icons

Instead of all trolls answering heres my take on it.


from what you said he took over a good majority of your land in "1" turn... Now ask yourself how did he do it so fast? The answer is because you didn't wall. If you had walled you would of had 1-2 turns to shift an army over to defend.. We all know defending is better then attacking. How about instead of dealing with defeat, why don't you try to prevent it from happening?

Back when I used to lose 50% of the game, I dealt with lost the same way I deal with chess losts. I analyze my mistakes so I won't make the same mistake twice. So basically, what acqui said.

There's a difference between losing a game and losing a game which has Alexmeza in it. Losing a game, I simply shrug it off and learn from mistakes. Losing a game with AlexMeza in it makes me go through a patch of madness, a new level of anger that no one has seen before.

When was this lol? Anyways, it probably did happen since my turkey is pretty weak. Instead of gloating, the best you could do is teach me on how to improve.
