Let's talk about nerfing DS.

I think the nerf wasn't enough. It is incredibly OP on eu+ and especially on eu.

Also don't reply with "it's not OP because it's beatable" because that doesn't even prove in the slightest bit that DS isn't op.

Well perhaps. But 3 strats right now have better attack than RA. HW,GC and even IF. It is also an expensive strat and you cant defend well with infs. The only good thinks are the cost and the range of the tanks.

I don't think it's op because it's popular. It's op because 95% of the community can't counter it.

You can practically win 95% of all 1v1s with DS on EU and EU+.

DS can be a carry or a completely useless strategy.
DS is like an ADC in League of Legends. Give him too much money and he will wreck everyone. If he doesn't get enough he is basically just useless feed.

If you let DS grow too much, you screwed up. It's not really OP unless you make it.

Yes, that is completely true.

But on maps like EU and EU+ picking countries like Ukr and Poland which gives a large amount of money, you can expand extremely fast AND cock block your opponent because of the Heli bonus vs inf and militia.

As DS, the game all comes down to if you can expand faster than your opponent and harassing him while defending your cap.

In map modes like EU, DS can pick ukr or pol and not defend his cap as much as in ukr vs turk which gives room for DS to full expand, and full cock block.

Secondly, if others have already figured out how to beat it, then its not OP

Thirdly, that means if you constantly lose to it, it's a reflection of how you play against DS, not how DS is played against you. Clearly others have beaten it. Just practice more.

well yea obviously, it's clearly more likely UKR will win, that's like saying you will beat most people 9/10 if you play turk VS any west also.
The logic is sound. If there is already something else that can beat it (turkey), then there is no need for a nerf on DS. Especially since EU+ isn't the only map that plays DS. Think about the thousands of other maps and starting points this would effect. Not just UKR.

A lot of bold statements with no clear evidence to back it up. You're singling out 1 country and 1 strategy for that country out of thousands of other picks in the game.
