Skill gap is a hurdle for most, he'll at this point it's a mountain. Untill something is done about easy sp, on easy farm maps, the community as a whole will stay in the mud. Again I propose all maps by default should have a 0 sp multiplier, Untill tested and approved by mods for dificulty and balance. That's way it entices the community to play harder maps and gain the much needed skill they require to compete on competitive play. Because at this point, when they get bored of rp they no longer enjoy the game, and leave. But if they played other maps from the beginning theyre enjoyment would stretch over many maps genres and eventually lead some to comp.

The thing is, if people actually played RP for the RP aspect then they shouldn't care about SP. On halo 3 online they had a multiplayer playlist of i guess fun games and that but you couldnt earn experience in it, people played it for the fun games thats all. Sadly RP is completely just for sp... back when I played it at least it wasnt so spammed with cities and people would be roleplaying, most games i played lasted past 100 turns. Now days rp games last till like 20 turns and there is no rp at all. typical game *turn 3, United Kingdom: I war germany cause fuck his bitch* that sort of thing.
