Cant play..

Hey everyone..

I'm Shayke,i used to play AW months ago,and i toke a break,several reasons,well,now im comin back,and there's a problem:

Whenever i try loggin it says Connecting for like 1 min,and then a small window pops like when you're internet is havin problems,

"server disconnected,connection error"

and the reconnect button,and thats it,thats with chrome however.

now,with IE,i login,press play,and it says i need silverlight,which i already have,tried reinstalling,no use.

can anyone please help me?

Try to clear the silverlight cache for afterwind and then reload the page

Go to Uninstall in Control Panel and you may see something like Microsoft + c... something very long like that, uninstall that, then uninstall Microsoft Silverlight and restart pc, then install and Afterwind should work

Sorry apart from Safari's suggestion can't think of anything else

what one of em? and aren't they are necessary for different things?

Na there some kind of bug that gives MS a error for MS type applications

Hmmm have you tried clearing "cookies"? It helps he sometimes and IE tends to crash a little. (I know from experience.) I suggest using Mozilla Fire Fox maybe that should work if IE is still being bad.

Nothing works,noticed something tho,when i install AW on my desktop,i mean that silverlight thing,when i enter it,before i even enter details it says Connecting...

Something's strange here,some mechanic problem.

Could it be your firewall preventing the connection? Try disabling it.

It's disabled,seriously no solution?

Got the same problem though my window just turns black, and there's nothing to do about it. Boy, would I like to play, my friends are all playing when I can't!!

1. Restart PC
2. Reinstall Silverlight
3. Clear all the cache

Ok,something's wrong, i formatted pc recently,and even now i cant play,same problem?!

I even upgraded internet to 12 mb.

You formatted? Wow.

Maybe it doesn't work for all Israelis? Might be the Internet Service Provided (ISP) blocking it for whatever stupid reason, and mistakes like that are not uncommon. It really sucks, I remember you being a pretty cool guy.

And I formatted because of other reasons,and no,I tried it on another computer and it worked,same internet.

So it must be something in this computer,however,I dont know what.

Please anyone help me.

Ah, so you do have Silverlight.

Try this (might be XP-only, but I think it works with Vista and 7 too):

Step 1
Go to Microsoft Update using Internet Explorer.
This must be done in IE, you cannot use Chrome or Firefox for this.
If you've deleted the shortcut to Internet Explorer and can't find it go to "Run..." in the start menu and type in "iexplore.exe".

Step 2
Click "Advanced:, however that is in Israeli. It should look a bit like this:



Step 3
Wait for it to load (it takes a while), then click on Silverlight, as shown here:



I'd also recommend click on "Software, optional updates", (or whatever that is in Hebrew) which is highlighted too, and installing most things on there. I'd stay clear from "Windows Search 4.0" and "Windows Live" though.

When i enter the link u gave me it sends me to Windows Update,ill try to update the windows and see if it works ;]

Bah,I did all Windows Updates,It still shows me a small window with Insturctions how to open Windows Update.

Maybe there's a tutorial how to do what u showed in Win 7 ?

Are you using the aw app or accessing AW through the website? There was a server change a few weeks ago, and the app will give this error on connect.
