The question I ask is simple, should Afterwind rename Burma to Myanmar? Burma's name was officially changed to Myanmar in 1989, but many political and ethnic opposition groups, and countries continue to use "Burma" because they do not recognise the legitimacy of the ruling military government or its authority to rename the country. The U.N currently recognise the name as Myanmar, but many English speaking countries recognise it as either Myanmar or Burma. what are your thoughts?

The Dutch wiki automaticly changes "Burma" to "Myanmar" when i search for it. So i think its officially called "Myanmar". But to be honest, i don't really care and i'm ok with both :) . Do we even have players from that region? If so, tell us

I think that as the region itself recognizes the name Myanmar (According to original posts and above posts), it should probably just be renamed to Myanmar. Personally, I think the only time there should be conflict over renaming a country is when there's debate within the region itself.

... Bielorussia changed name to Belarus. In spanish language still being Bielorusia and oficially is preferable that name in Spain. I propose this... Change names of the countries to the REAL NAME. I want to see "España" and not Spain. And... Burma or Myanmar in spanish is Birmania. And Germany is Alemania. Spanish changes a lot names. Translations are just translations.

Many people (at least americans :l) don't really know the names of countries in other languages. Like, I'd never know that Germany is Alemania in Spanish. I think it'd be best to just keep the English translations since that's what pretty much everyone here speaks.

Belarus is called 'Wit-Rusland' in Dutch. If you translate that to english its: 'White Russia'. Germany is called 'Duitsland'. But i think we should keep using the English names. Its an English game, and otherwise; everything is confusing. What if we changed names to chinese or arabian in that regions... Just stay with english

It must remain Burma other wise this would make no sense: "A shave / That's real / No cuts to heal / A soothing / Velvet after-feel / Burma-Shave" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burma-Shave
