To remake or to not remake

Over 6 years ago I made "The Great european war" to re-imagine what Pistoltr's ww1 once had since he removed his map. I tried to imitate it's quality and it did well for a time and recently I've been working on a different map that's ww1-era and decided "Maybe I ought to re-make my old map with my more modern style of map-making". If I do it there will be a slight changes in terms of balancing and units but most of the updates will be border-wise if i do it.
The question I impose is, should I?

Like I said, this map is for a different ww1-era map i'm working on the side and I decided to utilize those borders for this as well, and as far as I know it's impossible to use another world map(i specifically need full world for that map) and therefore it's gonna have to be default map(i've tried using another before starting on this)

"different ww1-era map" is what I said. It's ww1 era but it's not gonna be a traditional ww1 map

If you are to remake it, can you make the city Prussia to Konigsberg?

The city is konigsberg, the country is just named prussia, anyways those borders aren't finalized borders. They're the borders that i'll be using in the "different map" I mentioned in the original post
