Prominent gw apologists like Cold Case and Shattered Skies defend GW by saying it isn't OP because city defense bonus doesn't work and gw militia doesn't have 7 def with general.

PROOF City bonus works




GW militia cannot roll 6 non crit without gen without the city bonus.

That does mathmatically means 15 gw militia can kill any 10 inf that are not pd/if/lb/gc on huge chance and that makes gw op as well
problem solved via logic

I don't see the reason to call me or viva "gw spammers". If you want lets see marines from all prespectives. Go gw germany in a 3v3 or gw spain or gw france or go gw in a place with high fund. You will be destroyed. While lb on the other hand can be played in many scenarios and countries. Pd is also an op strategy with 50 cost powerful defense and descent attack which can be played anywhere. Sm is op in the world map, nerf it. Hw if played by don can be very op, nerf it. Also last cw vs illyria wd put 70inf gen in kiev with pd, please nerf it's op and I'll start calling wd pd spammer and inf spammer. Try doing that with gw.

I see stuff like, "come beat me if you can me gw you w/e you want etc etc", guys, give a rank 7 any expansion and still the r7 won't be able to play gw at its full potential.

Nonetheless, I agree upon removing marine defense and militia city bonus or one hp or one critical. Anything more will destroy gw and if you manage to do that the only thing you will achieve is having players quit. Same for lb.

Ps: Any really good players that really knows gw and knows how to beat it wins against me. Now wd will come with his brain filled of air and say I suck.

No GW is OP and DS as well, and this comes from someone who plays both a lot - if it's possible to tweak more than one strat then these two should def be slightly nerfed after LB, but it seems that that isn't possible atm

Strategies like GW are one of the several things that still keep the game intersting. yes it can be too easy with UKR but the alternative is retarded LB or DS. I would keep GW that way for now and focus on LB first.

heres a reality check for you. You shouldnt be playing gw on europe+ 10k at all. It's not a gw niche. The exception is occasionally as ukraine but even ukraine is not a country that naturally screams gw. The fact that people make it work there is just a testament to how op the strat is. If i were to open a europe+ game for the first time and pick ukraine, gw would be 1 of the last strats i would think to try. Destoria, now that map is a gw niche.

Saying ill be destroyed as gw spain is such a redundant and obvious thing to say. No shit sherlock. I'd get destroyed as ds uk too. But guess what? Ds is still op.
