Part three don't tread on me

You offered no help, you can't help, your no more programmer inclined then myself sun tzu, all the map makers left aw, the quality of maps have decreased to levels not even seen at editor launch, and my point still stands you can't help me or the people who are to scared to say anything, look how you silence me with no result for my issue, your response is this "everything is fine, ignore the crazy man who has no legitimate complaint" be a man of your word and fix the editor, or stop silencing my voice, a voice ment for our programmer not our advertisement director. I will not go away this time not without a solution.

Main point is while its still possible to use the silverlite version, it gets in the way of standard HTML5 gameplay when servers have to be stopped and updated. Not to mention you cant publish your map and test it with an audience straight away, you have to wait for these updates.

When was it a logical idea to break up gameplay in a game that needs to nurture its user base in order to grow?

Oh wait I forgot, this is just a source of easy money for the creators, they have no intention of making it grow, my bad.

And Ivan still thinks the game is worth $100,000

I may be able to help however would need to see the issues first hand, As I can see only 3 players are reporting these issues wit h silverlight. Maybe arrange a screenshare and Il do my best to help.

Thanks Helly, I have learnt more about the editor since then (not being a mapmaker myself) and yes lets arrange a time when we are both at home and can fix this. Thanks again for your patience.

yeah it's not right, infact it's illegal in the UK to advertise something as a discounted product when it is at its original price. You have to have the "rrp" price set for several weeks before it can be classed as such, In this case it would have had to be set at $50 for something like 21 days. So in the UK right now Amok and Ivan are breaking the law. Nice one chaps.

Well any regulations would fall under Estonian consumer law and not UK law, however yes it doesn't seem right and I can see how it is construed as misleading, therefor why I would assume it is a mistake as the intentions are never to mislead customers.

You're repeating my point but cool

While hell likes to be a bit overdramatic he has got a point. The delay without any explanation is ridiculous. Fair enough amok and ivan have hectic real lives atm but just throw the mapmakers a bone and respond. To be blunt the silverlight editor sucks balls. Half the players cant even get it to work at all including me. I wanted to host a tourney on a map i edited but without the ability to use silverlight i gave up on it.

The Silverlight map editor has 2 fundamental flaws:

1.- Maps are not fully "exported" into the html5 server in real time.
2.- The map editor is already outdated and amok promised a few important upgrades that would make the map editor a much better tool, but such upgrades were promised for the html5 editor.

for instance i believe the following updates can be added by changing a few integer numbers on the source code:
-Removing unit stat limits (example 10 attack tank)
-Removing event unit cap (currently you can only place 500 in the entire map)
-Allow Rare units to be placed as events
-Allowing rare units to have a 100% chance of spawning when you take a city
-Longer unit description box

Related to custom maps:
-Better Map Filters (Colonial Era maps) (WW3 maps) (Roman Maps)

You missed a perfect oppurtunity for the title " Don't Thread on me"

The fact that some Silverlight features don't transition into HTML5 doesn't make it much better, and that likely isn't going to be fixed until the new map editor comes out, if it does.

I think something needs to be done about map editor asap as well, however I think suing is an awful approach to the game that will kill it off immediately.

If i were to live outside usa, like admins, and someone in usa would be like "ill sue you", i would use the american court document as toilet papers. These "ill sue you" kind of BS happen only in usa, so while admins are not located in usa along with their buisness, no one gives a damn if you sue them or not just fyi

Good thing I don't got partial citizenship in the eu or anything, and I'll use a multinational dispute lawyer from Belgium where I own property.

1- Yes good thing, we dont need people like you who "sue" for stupid reasons in europe
2- You didnt had to say you own a property since its irelavant of what were talking about unless you wanna brag about it or lie about it
