Rank 5 and it sucks

Now that I worked to get to Rank 5. I can't play in the beginer's room (0-4 only) and all the games in the big kids room are always too high a level. I understand how it works, but it is not going to get my money.

Yes, every player goes through growing pains. I understand your pain, but this is the way you become a mature player.

Sorry to hear that you are having difficulty moving into the main room. The transition stage from beginners to main is being reviewed and we are looking at a number of ideas to make it esaier, such as more advanced tutorials.
In the mean time try asking more experienced players to teach you or maybe join a clan for some help and support.

I made it through r5 without premium, just got it a few weeks ago. Just find some good World 50k games or Europe 10-15k and you will increase at a steady pace. The Sp gets you more upgrades as time goes by, making it a little easier.

I also suggest looking in the Game Strategies and Tips thread here for some guides and tips for advancing your skill and teaching you walling methods, game mechanics, etc.:

You could play casual games, 15 mins a day to get all your games done.

I feel ya, we were all rank 5s too. It's hard because of rank limits players set and the difficulty of the games. What made it much less painful for me was the fact that I bought premium and could set my own rank limits, and had an awesome clan who helped me a lot. As Sun said, join a clan. It'll help you a lot. Join a good, competitive clan for that matter. Good luck playing the game.

Try to launch a game in main room. There are plenty of rank 5s that would be willing to play with you. I've also noticed an increase of low rank players playing 3v3's these past few weeks.

I was recently in the same exact boat as you (now rank 6). It is hard moving from the beginner room to the main room, but as others have said everyone goes through it. It is a learning process, and a huge jump is difficulty that hits you like a ton of bricks when you are faced with players who have been playing the game for years, compared to all new players. You will catch on quickly though, read through the forums there are lots of awesome guides if you go to the index about strategies, terminology, and general gameplay. Also the community is very helpful and there are many here who want to help new players learn and enjoy the game, hopefully you can get in touch with some of those people. Check out the "adapt a noob center" it helped me immensely and got me involved with some cool people and in a great clan.

A quick point that helped me and hopefully can help you:
GET FASTER INFANTRY. I can not stress this enough, I wish someone had told me at the start how great it is, I actually bought some proto coins so I could reset my upgrades and get it.
