Cthulhu's Gauntlet

This class will be a way for the community to know who are good players and who just farmed their way to high ranks. I will let you know in advance what time it will be (at least once a week for 1 month, preferably on saturday), and attendance will be mandatory or you will be dropped from the program. You can come and ask me any questions, and I will go over: PD, Out-Thinking Opponents, Logistics, Risk-Reward, and if there is enough interest HW
When you complete the program, I will add your name to a special post for alumni of the class. If you complete the class, that means you can play on my level, and if you can't compete on my level, you will fail the class.
You can also spectate and not participate if you wish, but you won't get the credit unless you sign up. To sign-up, you must have basic understanding of the game. This class is more like a trial by fire, not everyone will pass. I expect you to think for yourself, and I will quiz you during the lecture. I will most likely use the radio for the class.
The first class will be this November 22, 1014 at 11:00 pm Hawaiian Time. Please plan accordingly. At the end of the class, there will be an individual quiz. The quiz will range from basic knowledge of PD to advance knowledge of PD. You need at least 75% to continue the class. I suggest studying the PD guides in advance.
The second class will cover Out-Thinking Opponents, it will be an open discussion on next weekend. Time be announced later.
The third class will be logistic, I will teach you tricks and tips, and expect you to perform it. I will be grading you on your expansion based on my specification. The scenario rules will be different, and I expect you to perform 2/3 of the test to pass. The class will start at 12:01pm Sunday Hawaiian Time.
The final class will be 12:01pm next Sunday, Hawaiian Time. It will cover over risk-reward. I will give you insight, and it will be a question-answer quiz. If you pass this class, you will pass the gauntlet. Good luck everybody.
If you can't not make it, I can send you the make up quiz, but you have to let me know in advance

Oh, for me im on EST, so on ur time 5-8 range ideal (just not in middle of day only time I really can fit). Midnight hawiiaa time works as well

I think it would be a really cool idea if some older player(s) brought something like this back. A sort of advanced training for guys who are not beginners, this game has a very steep learning curve and I think there is a large information gap between some old strong players, and newer generation of players. Looking at you Clovis, Raul, Lao. Any others who might want to teach?

I never have any trouble with practising with people who ask me to or even help and share what I already know or whatever trick I may have learned. My main problem is that I do not have enough spare time to host such thing as Cthulhu used to do. Besides that, I'm not sure how would I organize such thing. Cthulhu was smart enough to plan some sort of "class and practical exercices", I don't think I'd be able to do such thing since I haven't got any experience in teaching more than one or two persons at a time nor I think I have the "authority", "acknowledgement" or "prestige" to lead this project...

I can provide the material and tests and the criteria to passing the class. I am extremely busy during the weekdays, I usually wake up around 7am, and come home at 7pm. I will have much more time when I graduate. (Which is in a few months). If the community wants this, I can revive this, but I will need help this time. The primary help I need is someone is skilled and unbiased. I will give the class format and exam formats, and they will administer the lesson. So only volunteer if you have the time to commit (usually each saturday). I only require 2 players currently.
