A New Way of Looking At Things

This photo reminds me of the Matrix. Millions are trapped in their cozy echo chambers, a chamber much like the Matrix, where they are nourished through tubes and wires. Only, here they are nourished through the matrix of media.

In a globalized world where family is the state and the state is family, where humans are reduced to the likes of a caged animal, regardless of your politics, it's not truth that we must find in common, it's not diversity or opinion or anything of the sort. What matters is human decency, a concept lost in our hyper-sexual, "anything goes" society.

I mean you could use the same image to represent fox news too . But I agree that way too many people are trapped in their echo chambers, whether on the left or the right. People need to treat each other with decency instead of immediately demonizing each other. Most Trump supporters are decent people, and only perhaps 5-10% are the racist "immigrants are stealing our jerbs" types (though of course I admit that low-skilled hispanic labor is indeed reducing the salaries and taking the jobs of working class Americans. However, high-skilled Asian or high-skilled labor from any other part of the world tends to create jobs and benefit the US economy). Most democrats are also normal people and also not SJWs or feminazis who think that all men are evil, it's a 5-10% of crazy people who have socialist or overly left-wing beliefs.

There does need to be a middle ground between the two ofc. Too much to one direction leads to instability. Bernie would probably cause harm to the US economy with his wealth tax, and Trump is causing harm to the US's reputation and to the lives of legal immigrants through his lack of preparation when leading the US and his anti-immigration policies.

I mean, we can all admit that there are issues on both the left and right. I'm leaning left for the upcoming election due to immigration and the environment, but I'm not wholesale calling the right a bunch of racist xenophobes (only maybe 5-10% of the right fits that category). Atwar may attract some of the more vile/trolling people from the right, but most conservatives in the US are relatively decent and normal people.
