How to Improve AtWar (If possible)

I don't quite know how I feel about the recent happenings on AtWar these days. I've been playing this game for almost 7 years now, and I bought premium because this game makes me happy and I wanted to show my support to the creators for making such a wonderful game. I don't consider myself to be a gamer, but this game time and time again has been the one I chose over console and other pc games.

That being said, I also believe this game could be improved. When I initially joined the game I almost left because there was so much going on and I practically had to fend for myself. I'm sure most people who joined without having a friend or some sort of support can relate.

Another issue is boredom. All of those "rare" units that AtWar boasts about should be made available to be purchased with SP. That would make the game way more interesting! Here's an example: Some rare units I have found are light and heavy tanks which provide way more attacking versatility. Now imagine if those units were able to be bought and then if combined with Relentless Attack, which is currently not a preferred strategy, could definitely be a forced to be reckoned with. Or Perfect Defense with Exo Infantry or Sky Menace with Long Range Missiles. I think the came could go so much farther and be even more appealing with those kinds of possibilities!

Regarding the DDOS attack, I don't know why someone is taking out their anger on an entire community of people who just want to play. That person probably won't be reading this, but it doesn't negate the fact that they have some emotional growth to do yet. They are that teacher in school who punished the whole class with no recess bc one or two kids were acting out. How is that fair?

I would love to hear everyone else's thoughts on the matter. Hopefully we can see some really nice changes to AtWar, and these recents events be the catalyst to effect them.
