After a year and a half, Ultimate WWII is back up. It was taken down for a major edit which was never finished due to me being unable to find the time to complete the changes. When I returned, I initially couldn't work out out what problems needed to be fixed but after testing, all issues have been resolved and the game can now be available again for peoples enjoyment. This new mode of play will require proper field testing for balance. If some changes don't work, they can be removed quite easily so don't worry too much. If it becomes an issue, alternative versions can be made or some changes can be scrapped altogether but most changes will improve game play and provide authentic WWII realism. Major Edits: Britain is now the capital of USA Atlantic and fast lanes has been placed in the Atlantic for the USA to supply Britain and conduct aggression in North Africa. Lanes connecting Britain to France are the only way either side can fight the other. The Siegfried Line has been placed on German borders so that pushing into Germany will be difficult. The Pacific Ocean now has fast lanes for new, cheaper Aircraft Carriers at the starting points of the Japanese Navy and USA Pacific. This will allow faster more strategic game play where players will have to properly Island hop to overcome their opponents. The capital of the USA Pacific is now in Hawaii. No longer will the game be drawn out with Axis players having to conquer the US Mainland. The original UK player now only has to maintain its Southern Asian territories. The game will no longer suffer from a failing Britain losing access to India. The South Asian territories can be further nerfed in future if necessary for better balance. In a future edit, India will be further broken up into separate territories to make for easier incursion into the South Asian territory. The Mediterranean can no longer use transports. Italy is the only Euro-African entry and exit point. Players can only open up Greek and French lanes if the opposing team cities have been taken. These lanes are defended by an unbeatable unit only killable via their unique opposing unit available in Marseilles, Alexandria and Athens. Placement of defensive units within these three cities in the Mediterranean Sea is strictly prohibited. In simple terms, for the Italian player to open up the Greek fast lane, they must first take Alexandria, buy the "Ultimatum To The British Navy" unit and send it alone to attack the "British Navy" city. The Ultimatum Unit will kill the British Navy unit allowing the Italians quicker access to the Africa and Middle Eastern frontier. The Sahara Desert is now inaccessible and the Vichy French territories have been broken up in Africa for better strategic game play. More detailed information on Ultimate WWII will be available in future. For now, enjoy! -Update 26/01/16 -First Indian division complete. Bengal is a separate territory. -Aircraft Carriers are now free in US Atlantic theater. Southern state production is buffed for more aggression in Operation Torch. -Italian Mega Buff +500 cash +20 production in Italian North Africa -British Africa Buff +500 cash, Desert Rats available across all of South and Eastern British Africa and have normal tanks stats with +1Def and -40cost. Sudan port +1 production. 20 Desert Rats placed in El Alamein at start instead of 10. General now placed in Cairo. -Anti-Tank Infantry now available in Italian and British South/East African territories. -Atomic Weapons upgrade: Atomic Bombs now kill (GUARANTEED) 10 of any unit type (except for special undefeatable units) and wipe out a cities population. Available in Las Vegas at turns 8 & 12 . Germany develops its own atomic bomb on turn 18 with a V2 rocket delivery. -Update 16/02/16 -British Africa Buff +150 cash and +12 production in Egypt. Desert Rats now available across all of South and East British Africa. British Africa can now go offensive. -US production Buff. Extra Atlantic city added at the top lane so the US can move troops faster and easier. -MAJOR UPDATE- "Air Superiority" (Currently in testing): The English Channel Lanes are now countries with a capital at the center of each lane. Each of these lanes represents two cities in the North Sea, 6 in total. 3 of these cities are occupied by the Allies (USA), the other 3 occupied by the Axis (Germany). These 6 cities can only build two unit types, "0 cost" Fighters and "0 cost" Bombers. Controlling one of the English Channel lanes gives access to one of the Allied or Axis cities in the North Sea. Holding all 3 will give the player access to 30 "0 cost" Air unit types and complete 'Air Superiority'. The 6 cities will initially be neutral. An event on First turn will give both both players 3 sets of units to take the cities. but the player will not gain access to the Air unit production of these cities unless one of the lanes are captured. -Update 07/02/17 -A no-go wall now divides the North and South of USA Atlantic so northern units will focus on Europe and southern units with focus on Africa. -Update 11/02/17 -Free French capital country is now divided into 3. It's capital is placed in Syria, another city is placed in England and the other is placed in the Congo. Free France can only be killed if Axis succeeds in all 3 arenas. - Fighter-Bombers (Air: Special Attack/Helicopters) updated to default standard and now have -30 cost.

Lordy. Do you want me to nerf US production numbers back to the way they were prior to the "Air Superiority" update? Did you lose that game? Can you give details as to what happened in Europe and North Africa?

I was USA and sent everything i had, ignoring africa... Agree that USA must be nerfed but still USA must be able to kill germany so give USA 180-200 reinf while germany has 130, or increase German.

i actually support this idea. Atlantic USA could be divided by a physical barrier that prevents it from merging his african and european front troops.

How is WWII doing? I never quite got to finish testing that air superiority implementation. Any run down on how games have gone since or any consensus on problems regarding recent plays?

I create your and my map every day (one day mine, next day yours), but barely fill, and if we start i have to let r5 be USSR, China, Japan and sometimes even America. So it is hard to tell anything about technical issues. But 90% of those who join are very eager to play and wait for 1.5 hours sometimes for game to start.

Done. A no-go area now divides the North and South of Atlantic USA which extends into the sea. The sync has updated, I have tested and the no-go works.
