Video is simple propaganda, she says Ukrainians fight dictator in 2014 but she ignore the fact that Ukrainians voted him to become the President and only new elections are legal way to get new one. Maidan was coup and now Ukraine have illegitimate government recognized by International Community, but the fact remains that they were not elected like democratic countries does.

In this moment it does not matter if Yanukovich was corrupted or not, fact is he was legal president elected by the people and had constitution defending the president. Coup militants changed that violently - in revolution, ignoring democratic values.

Just as Communism was created for Western Capitalist Democracies, so is the European Union. Immature democracies of the Eastern Europe does not fit there. EU fiscal policies have no place in newly created market economies of the Eastern Europe, as they regulate production heavily. Economies in development cannot sustain that. They need more freedom which EU does not allow. Primary example is farming where Eastern farmers complain alot in EU from Hungary, Bulgaria to Baltic. EU regulations order farmers to have open grass fields for cattle, while farmers don't have that and hold their cattle in stables which is against 'animal rights'. Thus their business become illegal and they are unable to continue to produce and sell meat, milk and cheese. They bankrupt because they have no capital to expand or buy new fields for their cattle, while France, Germany and Italy already have that for 50 years. They have advantage. That forces Hungarian farmer to take bank loan and get into heavy debt, which lessen his freedoms while his country is forced to import subtitute goods from Germany, France or Italy thus making them profit.

Same will happen to Ukraine. EU will just give them loans, to repair roads and airports, where EU goods will be transported, and that infrastructure will be constructed by EU companies which mean EU will give them loan - only to recieve it back 5 minutes later and send their costruction companies on the way.

In the meantime, Ukrainian War still going on, standard of living is falling, government have less and less money to fund hospitals, schools and military, people lose jobs due to currency inflation, sanctions and war. Police become weaker and weaker to defend civilians against right-wing paramilitaries, now veterans of the Ukrainian War. 200,000 Ukrainians leaving every year, most of them to Russia to work for minimum wages so they can feed their families, working the hardest jobs in the cold, snowy Ural and Siberia, digging coal and oil.

Therefore, answers as follow:

If you are pro-American = no, Ukraine should not join EU because that will create civilian exodus to Russia, and you won't get an ally, but a warzone constantly asking for funds
If you are pro-Ukrainian = no, it will reduce economic and financial freedoms in Ukraine
If you are pro-Russian = yes, it will trigger mass immigration to Russia

Even the most cursory and superficial research on the state of the Ukrainian economy and society will reveal that Ukraine is not even close to being fit enough to be a European Union member state.

GDP per capita (PPP-adjusted)
Ukraine - roughly $8,200~$9,000, depending on what source you reference
Bulgaria (poorest country in EU) - roughly $16,000
Ireland (richest big country in EU) - roughly $47,000~$48,000, depending on what source you reference

Intentional Homicide Rate (per 100,000)
Ukraine - 4.3
Hungary (most murder-ridden in EU) - 2.7
Sweden (most murder-free in EU) - 0.7

Life expectancy
Ukraine - 71 years
Bulgaria (shortest lives in EU) - 74 years
Sweden (longest lives in EU) - 82 years

Then, of course, there are things that can't be so easily quantified. For example, Ukraine's government is far more prone to coups than any European Union state, and its politics is less stable.

I think, then, that Ukraine's standard and quality of life quite obviously lies below the usual European Union range. Admitting such a poor and underdeveloped country in the European Union could undermine the coherence of the Union. Note how much tension there already is between the "richer" EU countries such as Germany and "poorer" EU countries like Greece, then consider the fact that compared to Ukraine, Greece is a stable, rich, and developed country.

Ukraine's membership in the EU could have disastrous consequences.
