How to use Perfect Defense successfully?

Whenever I try to use it, I am not usually successful. Tips on using that strategy? (maps that you should use it on like just Europe?)

You can use it almost anywhere, its one of the best strategies of aw. Some infantry upgrades can make it even more efficient, its cheap so you can pick it with high starting cost countries. You have two choices, play it smart or spam infantry. Use bombers to wf and break distant walls, predict other players moves and try to wf it or wall it in. Attack transports with one inf or bomber or so. Militia get extra range and are cheaper so you can use that to your advantage. Basically PD can be played anywhere and how you want since it only nerfs tanks although tanks are still usable. Dont spam tanks. Just play it smart.

You can take high income country but you only need to buy infantry's and militia. Remember militia have 5 defence with PD and infantry 7 so they are OP.Don't buy any other unit expect Bombers you gonna need them to break walls, transports,you can buy tanks if you really need some ''Power attack'' to take some neutral country's don't use for any other thing.You should take Germany (10k), United Kingdom (10k may not be good imp can be much better),France (10k),Turkey if you really know how to play with Turkey,Ukraine if you want against Turkey it's good,and other countrys just depend on starting position and funds.Pd is not good for Whole world or some big maps you can win but you gonna need much time to get whole world if you are China you can spam infantry's and it's almost OP so nobody can stop you for advantage.

Make sure you make walls,Defend important city's,take country by country you may need much units to attack and PD against GW player is poor its really hard to fight against GW if you are PD.So these tips may help you

Start with Germany Then learn Ukraine and Turkey. Also, get infantries upgrade ASAP, they help a lot!

When you use PD, you also want to use support units alongside INF, because INF are very slow. It is possible to play without support units (such as transport and air transport) but then your opponent has the opportunity to just walk over the frontline and attack your rear.

Also when playing PD, you want to make sure you picked a country with a port, so you have the opportunity to expand far, rapidily, if desired.

I mostly just use PD when I'm playing on a bigger map, but the map is very full and I see I will have a lot of problems, right from the start. It's a good strategy if you don't have much space at the start, but still play on a bigger map. Otherwise, if you play on a smaller map, I personally rather prefer Iron Fist. It's more fun in this case, imo.

noooooooo PD is very good in tight spaces and open spaces. PD France for instance in a 3v3 is one of the most effecient ways to play france in a 3v3 , and that is as close as it gets.

It's an absolute fact that PD is effective in tight and open spaces.
IF just happens to be something you prefer.

It all depends on your style, I like stealth playing more MOS or GW always causes pain to PD players, MOS specifically if you know how to play it well and watch your economy will beat PD with ease. SM also very good.

PD is a slow strategy depending on circumstance. In my times, being rushed and winning with PD means you go on a full stampede and the game starts taking off from there.
I think if you want to play PD at your best, just make sure to understand the strategies of your opponents. Understand where they will go to and how it effects you.
