There is if it's the same unit. Select the country and choose the unit... all cities will show the icon for that unit.
Then go to the 'auto production' tab and execute the production. All units will now be recruited.

If you want different units, you have to go city by city, so it's more mouse clicks.

It's not that we want players to do this kind of farming, we're just kind of waiting for a solution. The solution mods came to a while ago was restricting dueling to rank 6+ players through code. I'm pretty sure Dave said he was ok with it, but I'm not going to speak for him. So thats kind of where we're at.

If that gets implemented btw, the plan is to remove the rule regarding dueling on alts.

I don't like the idea of making extra rules to cover something the game mechanics currently allow.

Agree entirely with Brian. I've removed the promotion.

Please do share your ideas about this, my personal conclusion is that enforcing any kind of "duel reform" would be unnecessary strain on moderators and the solution would have to be coded in.

Posts specifically about other players are considered pillory. The above discussion is relevant in general, but because it contains specific players, i'm locking for now in accordance with rules. Please feel free to reopen the discussion, but keep the focus on the issues, and not the player.

If i didn't respond, i may have been afk, or just catatonic at the time. There is a discussion in mod forum on how to more effectively manage this problem. ♥

One of the best feelings we get as mods is catching these guys farm a number of games after the fact, and taking all that SP, upgrades, etc, and banning them.

No... is not this... its about the defence bonus... they are not shown in the game

When you hover over a stack and it shows the attack and defense numbers, this is for 'no strat' units. No bonuses are shown, nor are hitpoints factored in (particularly misleading when attacking for maps with unique units).

If this happens while a mod or supporter is available, let us know and we can try to help. There aren't a lot of low conduct players like this, but there are enough to spoil games for beginners, so let us know. Mods/supporters don't hang out in the beginner's games, so you will need to inform us when this happens.

You can also report the player. This won't help right away, but it will allow mods to address the situation, which can prevent further recurrences.

I really don't like this option, too many ways to exploit this mechanism. Should I always leave at least 1 troop in the city if I distrust my ally ?

Leaving a troop is a way to prevent this if you don't trust your ally.

Keep in mind, there are only a handful of players who do this sort of thing, and they are usually newer players who aren't aware of how low this kind of action is. Player's that do this quickly lose friends, are enemy listed by everyone, and find themselves banned from everyone's games if they don't change their ways.

Hey after playing atwar all these years i always noticed that where all our units are listed with the numbers of the different units like air transport and subs which for example in a casual game im in right now i know exactly i just have 2 air transports but why is it showing 7 and im paying the upkeep for 7 air transports but only got 2... and no i didnt even built 7 and lost 5 or somthing like that its a new game round 5-6 or so and it is always wrong in every game i ever checked ... i even searched the forum and found nothing about anyone else having this problem .. hope somebody can answer me

This is a persistent bug that seems like an easy fix, but it has eluded both the original developer (Amok) as well as Dave. Just know in casual games, the count is accurate at the start of the turn, and remains accurate 'under the hood' when the calculations are made. What is incorrect is the display... you will notice, particularly with transports, that when you move them, that is when their count goes up.. the bug counts the original position, and then when you move it somewhere, it SOMETIMES counts it as a new unit. So by the end of your turn, a single transport can be counted a few times, leading to high counts for those units. But you will see that despite the 'display' (which can often give high numbers, and result in your income dipping into negative numbers) the actual calculations at the start of the new turn are accurate. ♥

Translation isn't discontinued, it's still an "active" way anyone can contribute to the game. I'm not completely sure, but i believe the English lines you see are lines that have been translated, but not approved by the German language moderators (Sascha).

If something is translated wrong, it's probably because Sascha was lobotomized a few years ago and has trouble writing German and English. Please bear with him as he continues to learn the new him.

Major support for disabling fund option, would help in so many scenarios

well it's part of the strategy made by the team if we cannot fund anymore allies, that make the scenario strictly restrictied to the classic way which make the game very boring and repetitive

It's part of the game, true. You could still opt out of course, so i don't see the problem with having it as an option to solve a problem.
